Mental Health Drop-in Group
What is it?
Facilitated by a registered social worker and nurse practitioner, this group will teach skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, an effective treatment for managing mental health. Every week, you’ll be taught about skills to:
- help tolerate distress
- regulate emotions
- how to be more effective with relationships
- mindfulness skills
We will end each session with goal setting to help you stay on track with your progress.
How does it work?
This group is for registered patients of the Artists’ Health Centre. No need to sign up ahead of time. Simply drop-in at 10:30am on a Friday.
Begins Friday September 28th 2018. Every Friday from 10:30am-12pm (on-going).
